I have an AMD Athlon64 2800+ (754) ON AN MSI K8M Neo-V based on VIA K8m800 Chipset. It has onboars Via UniChromell Pro IGP.
The Prob is that Direct X does not install, even after installing it shows 4.09.0000.0904.Is it because the IGP is not Direct X Compatible. And no games detect Direct X. Pls Help me out!

4.09.0000.0904 is indeed DirectX 9.0c. I ran dxdiag and it said my version was DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904). If you haven't done so already, Go to Start>Run and type dxdiag and hit Enter. The window that pops up will tell you what DirectX version you have.

@mayanksharma: Formatting should be the last option. Please don't go around telling people to reformat just because you didn't know what else to do. All it needed was a dxdiag text which makes it clear that 4.09.0000.0904 is indeed DX9c.
