what is deference between blank dvd & blank cd
The same as between chalk and cheese DVD has 4.7 GB capacity while CD has 700 MB. A DVD can also be dual-layered, while there is no such thing as a dual-layered CD.
But thats logically.
Dont think theres any diff. physically ie. visible to the eye.
Except for maybe the fine print.
And funny with almost 4 GB of extra Data in DVD then Cd they almost Weigh same
well dvd gives u space of abt 9 times ur general cd, in appearnce and description u wont be able to spot the diff at first glance becos both look nealr same and weigh nealr the same as mentioned in above posts
Another important difference being
DVD ROM cannot be read using CD ROM Drive while
CD ROM can be read using DVD ROM Drive.
Hey Bro Thats a Common Sense The dude's askin for in terms of Physical appearence identification which there is no way of differentiating.
Now Then....Theres is actually a physical difference not much but u can.....Cd are more more reflective in light ( Duh means they reflect more light )than DVD...Dono Coz but may be Coz Dvd has a close nit layer Technology to accomodate Data and Cd's are more Accomodative...of space and hence a reflection ( Yes REmember one can see how much Mb Approz a cd is written just by checking the back side ....we can see a clear distinctive pattern )
We know they are backward compatible.
walking-techie ya sayin
'u wont be able to spot the diff at first glance becos both look nealr same and weigh nealr the same '
What is the difference you spotted on your second glance?
