GURUJI.com - India’s First Local Internet Search Engine....

Guruji.com, a new search engine aimed at the Indian web consumer was launched today. The website aims to provide better search results to local users by leveraging proprietary algorithms and data.

The search engine has been founded by two IIT Delhi graduates, Anurag Dod and Gaurav Mishra, and employs crawl technology to locate information which is then indexed. The company has assembled a web farm to index the entire universe of Indian websites, and claims to use propriety algorithms to delve deep into the Indian internet domain and return locally relevant results to search queries.
