I Always Prefer 1080p
I use HUAWEI SmartAX MT880 modem. My broadband is configured as an autodial when i boot my pc as PPPoE using my username and password and IP to be provided by DHCP from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254 range with lease period of 1 day.

But when i configure my WAN setting as RFC2684 Bridged (Pure Bridged),
I am unable to get connected. The ADSL Link LED is glowing and my DNS addresses get updated but browsers don't open websites.

I configured my LAN as 192.168.1.2 as IP, 255.255.255.0 as Subnet Mask, 192.168.1.1 as default gateway. Also DNS was 192.168.1.1.

is my configuration right ?

if not what's the problem ?

I suggest you reset your settings on the main website of Dataone for your IP address. Then, instead of using it as a dial up connection, create a shortcut of your LAN connection on your desktop. Use it to enable or disable the connection as you wish, just like dial up, but with lesser hassles.

Hope this helps.

Techtronic use these settings in the modem properties

IP add: 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Preffered DNS Server: 61.1.96.69
Alternate DNS Server: 61.1.96.71

then login at *192.168.1.1

username: admin
password: admin

goto setup menu then DHCP configuration: click on the Server on
click apply

on left modem setup click pvc0
there the type must be ppoe
apply there also

click modem setup on left
it must be selected MMODE(except T1.413)
click apply

now goto tools -> system commands -> save all

now log off

Everything will be fine as before after restarting the computer and the router.

Gud Bye.

for using ur modem as pure bridge u need to turn off DHCP.also if this does not work restore factory settings of modem then it will surely work
