CUPS Error

In the zone
I use Knoppix. Many a times when I need to print there comes a CUPS error but many a times it works.

How can I make it work always? Help

hey. ca nyou please post the ups error logs , so that we can peep into that ;) but before that i will suggest you to edit the cupsd.conf, usually located in /etc/cups and search for the line LogLevel and change it to debug. and restart cups.

btw , you may find that log at /var/log/cups/

firewall, he uses Knoppix. Its unlikely that he has installed it. If it is used a live distro, there won't be any previous logs. Still, logs when error was generated could help. firewall is a more knowledgeable than me :oops: :)

Those errors come out everytime you try to print any thing from KDE... because in the printers list, there's something defined which does not exist. I guess you can't do anything abt that....

All you can do is select "Print to PDF" and try creating a PDF file of your document...
