    off to "never ever" land
    for dual bootin windows
u have to install in order of appearance
    so between the 2
u shouldve installed win 2000 first
    theres ur problem
so all u can do is reinstall winxp
but then ull get 2 options for winxp in the boot menu
in that case u can just edit ur boot.ini file ..
so just reinsall winxp for now

Boot from th Win XP CD and do not select th Recovery Console option. Continue with setup. After this, setup will detect ur previous XP installation and ask u if u want to repair it. Select yes. Now XP will only be repaired and u won't lose any data, programs or settings.
