connection speed...

    guys i use a cable connection (pacenet) which gives me a connect spped of 56/kbps..and average download speed pf 6/kbps...i use internet download manager and ares lite for downloads...now...as we know dial-up is even slower...is any other connection in india gives better connect/download speed ? and what can be done to get some more speed from ur existing connect...if possib at all...?

    Well downloader are the best and only way, you can do tweaking to your modem if you are on dialup.. nothing else !!

    I use Pacnet too.....but i get like arnd 10ks easily on my Pcenet connection. Neways use TCP/IP optimiser frm www.speedguide.net

    There are other articles worth reading there........catch em too
