Cd's do not autorun

I don't know why but the cds do not autorun aftr som tym after fresh installs.....i had reinstalled windows and then cds autoran for som tym but aftr that they stopped autorunning again...does anyone know the solution??

do this :

just go to run and type gpedit.msc

now go to computer configuration , then administrative templates and then system the double click on Turn off autoplay set it to disabled... click OK and close the window ,, you are done

U can easily do this by registry edit..........But please make a restore point before doing this.And do it very carefully.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the box, and then press ENTER.
navigate to here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom

To disable automatically running CD-ROMs, change the Autorun value to 0 (zero).
To enable automatically running CD-ROMs, change the Autorun value to 1.

Restart your computer.

U have done.

just right click the cd drive and open properties >> autoplay >> select a optin u want >> ok..

create a autorun.inf file and copy it to ur cd..

where AUTORUN.EXE is the file u want to auto open
ICON.ICO is the icon wich u want to display..
