Can't display file extensions

Right off the assembly line
I don't know why running windows explorer can't show some files extension on Windows Vista
Even the OS is no choose "hide file extensions for known file types" on folder options.
So only rename file name that can't edit file extension. (for example : abc.xxx edit to abc.zzz)
I double check the windows doesn't infect by trojan virus.
Please help me. Thanks

I unchecked it but all extensions didn't display.
