Can i mail remote send files?

hi

here is the problem.. suppose there is a file on a remote server.. namely. www.remote.com/123.zip (this server i dont own or have any kind of priveleges except just viewing the website)

what i want to do is to directly mail this file to some other email id as an attachment.. can this be done?? please help??

I think he wants to transfer the file between two servers.

i want the file only.. u can say that the server is a lot unreliable.. so i want to kind of back up the files to a secure location without having to download them to my computer.. ..

I think you've got to have some rights on atleast one of the servers to do this.
