Can I install Same Windows in 2 different PC using Norton Ghost ?

My Friend has 1 PC
Intel Dual Core 1.8, 945 Board, 1GB Ram, 80GB HDD (having 4 partitions)
Running WinXP and Some Softwares and also running Win98 (using Virtual PC)

He installed everything on C Drive
and saved data of Win98 of Virtual PC on D Drive

after this I made a Backup Image of its C and D Drive Using Norton Ghost

Now Can I install (or say Restore) the image of this PC in other PC having same Configuration and its HDD is fully empty without any OS or any Data

If Yes
How can I ?

Please help

Yes you can, the only thing you have to do is, while restoring, select the option that says 'restore original disk signature' and it will work just fine and you will get the exact same copy

I used Norton Ghost to install XP on 12 computers in 3hrs

How do i install windowsxp n sp2 using norton ghost 14 on fresh hard disk nd how to take backup of my windows using this software.

You need to have windows installed on one comp 1st. Then make a backup image of the hdd or the installation partion & restore it in your own hdd.

For detail instruction - consult the help file or manual of norton ghost.
