Can I change laptop screen resolution repeatedly?

Can I change laptop screen resolution repeatedly between 800*600 and 1024*768 almost thrice a day? will it harm the screen?

No, but LCDs are best in their native resolutions only. Other than the viewing pleasure, there are no issues.

IMO, it is not advisable to do this repeatedly. If there are certain things that you need to look at a particular resolution, resize the windows. Use on-screen rulers. They will be more convenient. I use JRuler to check web-pages at various resolutions.
