can adsl router be used for normal dsl broadband?

hi

i have a dsl broadband line with rj45 socket & a adsl mtnl triband. can i use wireless adsl router for both?

if not which model will allow me to use adsl as well as dsl line one at a time on the same model? or will i need to buy two seperate routers?

ADSL and DSL are just technologies.In ADSL, download/upload ratio is 4:1, while in DSL its 1:1.I think you can use the same modem.

i had asked the question becoz i had got adsl router for my dsl line.

after calling their helpline i have come to know that with ISPs such as hathway cannot work with adsl router. for such ISPs we need a normal wireless router.

just wanted to end the thread with this info. thx
