1st of all m sry if i have posted in d wrong section and now my prb....

i have bought this laptop having media centre preloaded in it i have no cd or any recovery cd for the OS just a recovery drive in pc.....now i want to get vista home edition premium one......so is it possible to get the upgrade for it or i wuld have to get a full vista.............and in both the conditions may i know whts d price for the upgrade nd the full one nd where may i get it.....m frm delhi

first of all use the inbuilt Recovery DVD maker s/w to create Recovery Disks.

if ur HDD goes kaput, so does ur precious Media Centre.

i guess u have HP laptop, ask the vendor or HP help centre regarding the Vista upgrade offer, afaik its available for HP desktops only.
