burning of 9gb dvd

    how can i burn a 9gb dvd using nero 6?

    Well do u have a dual layered writer? And what kind of dvd is it? Movie dvd or just data?

    u can burn , howver u need a dual layered writer as well as a dual layered dvd, both cost money, howver if u hav one u can use NEro to do that

    I ain't sure if you can find decent dual layered dvd-r's in India.

    I did search around myself for the 8GB+ size DVD disk.. but i dont know why anybody selling them around.. i would like to post this to "Mosear Baer" tooo .so that the think about manufacturing some..

    They do manufacture DL-DVD. Some of the Memorex and Verbatim (Made in India) media I bought overseas where made by MBI. Not sure where DL media can be found in India as I haven't bought any for more than 6 mths.

    Their company profile lists DVD-9 (dual layer 8.5gb) under current products.

    I have seen few media at lamington road .. one was verbatim 2.4 x media priced at 350 rs and one other brand was their (don't remember name)
    4x media in a jewel case for 400 rs .. :cry:

    So at the moment its very costly .... :x
