Booting Error

Hi,

I have windows 2000 server wd service pack 4, while booting this error comes "Failed to load cd_shell.dll" then after OK I get the desktop.

Plz let me know how to remove this error.

Hmm..It could be cydoor.Scan your computer with a good anti virus and also see this *www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2003-080115-1112-99&tabid=3

hey r u sure that this error is either for spyware or virus issue?
by the way I have chked both, but no solution.

ya, it cud be the cydor...
run ur av and ur anti-spy (avg anti-spy) in SAFE MODE.
then run ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com to clean up registry and other junk.
reboot. if problem persists, post ur hjt file here.
