Bootable cd that came with geforce fx 6600 256 mb agp

after i install my new gfx card drivers, my pc reboots but if the cd is still inserted it asks me to boot with the help of cd or not.then even when i press boot without cd, a message comes up as follows "Warning:the following BIOS recovery procedure is for the display card with SMARTFLASH feature only,if your display card does not support for the feature please terminate the operation by pressing ctrl-c to quit"

now i know i dont need to do any bios recovery procedure but am just curios about smartflash and what would happen if i boot from this disk...is this part of the installation?

if ur pc is working properly then dont boot with thst cd.......

otherwise it could put u in some sort of problem.......

never mind dude i have finally removed that card and am using nvidia vanta only! My compaq motherboard wont boot up using any other smps except its own and that one cannot provide enough power supply so my pc kept on restarting or hanging.so i will just give that card to my cousin and stick with my ancient card!
