Is the RAM in ur system is in 2 chips or single.

Dude I had the same problem when I upgraded my RAM, then I bought a single chip of 256 MB RAM and since then no BLUE SCREEN of Death.

i m using single 256 RAM. But i found an interesting thing, when i changed my 256 RAM with 128, the error screen stopped coming............... so i guess the problem was with RAM. But i cant use 128 RAM..... so i m going to change my 256 RAM. but i still have some doubts in my mind.

before doing anything else ...
just check if your RAM is really corrupted or not !!
use MEMTEST
or use MEMTEST86
Both are good utilities !
