best free cd burning software + firewall

guys cud u'll please give me some suggestions for a noob & user friendly free cd burning software ..(this is for my non computer savvy friend)
the ones i have found are

cd burnerxp pro 3.. hasnt been updated for years but they r working on a new beta 3.5 now!

Deep burner

Express Burn CD/DVD Burner

any others? which one should i use?

& plz also give me suggestion for most user friendly free firewall.. it doesnt matter if its heavy cuz it will be used on a sytem with 1 gb ram & xp pro...
i think it should be zone alarm free what do u'll say?

CD Burner XP Pro was very simple to use when I used it about 2 years back (now I use Nero OEM which came with my new CDRW). Deep burner is good too but not as easy to use... Tried a couple others but wasnt satisfied - dont remember Express Burner...
If your friend has a DVD writer, make sure the software you recommend has facility to do so... BTW, most CD writers come with OEM versions of Nero or Roxio dont they?

Regarding Firewall, ZA Free is easily the easiest to use.
