Hi all,

I'm a Vista Ultimate user. I'm using AVG 7.5 anti-virus. I want to create a .bat file to change status of AVG Update service to Manual-Disable.

Is it possible to make such .bat file.

Its possible if the program supports command line arguments... Or you can make a macro which does that for you.

Sorry, I havent used linux much, but you can do lots of stuff with bat files and vbs scripts. And they are supported under vista as well.

Same thing... batch files are just ordinary text scripts! where else would you create them except notepad!

Anyway, I dont think KingTheRuler can do what he needs... but from checking Here we can see that you can just update them via a command line. If you can mention what exactly you are trying to do, I might have a solution.
