Hell Sucks!!!
Our cable operator has got a 576 KBps line n he has given almost 31 connections in our area with maximum bandwidth of 64 KBps.
I want to know how is it done ?
Is it done by router alone or by someother software ?
Can i increase my bandwidth if i am able to access his router

cable operatore do not use ROUTERS....
they use switches..or repeaters...so no chance of hacking into them...

Hehehehe u guessed it right bt lemme tell u, this guy is really a sucker, provides us wid pathetic 9KBps all day long, just at night does it reaches 50-63KBps
We all really feel cheated by him btw i dont think i wl b messing up wid his system.
I wana knw hw actually it works, so that i may tweak it sometimes :D

he may use 24online software(elitecore) and with cyberoam protection system...

they dont block torrent or any p2p ports...

due to server load and traffic on sites u surf...

they have to check bandwidth.... sometimes user cant get binded bandwidth due to some technical issues in their hardware/software...
just contact their technical person or go to their office if u cant get ur plan speed...
