[b]Problem during installation of the service pack 2[/b]

System configuration:-
AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2400+
2.00 GHz
224 MB of RAM
WinXP with SP1

Problem:-
My problem is that the SP2 does not get installed properly. It gives an error that the file 'tcptest' is not available and the installation cannot be completed. The same problem exist both on the bundled SP2 on the digit cd and as well as dvd and also on the cd from the microsoft corporation

Please can you give me the solution for this problem as early as possible by mail.

What is the TCPTest. if i m not wrong its a software/driver for connvectivity to some spl devices. just try unistalling it first and then install the SP2

First try repair ur installation by booting from winows XP cd and then try installing SP2. If it fails then copy all the contents from xp cd and then integrate sp2 into it. Finally install a new copy of windows by double clicking on the setup.exe. If u donot know how to integrate SP2, then send me a mail at varungupta17@yahoo.com or at varungupta17@gmail.com.
