AVG Anti-Spyware Update Problem!!!

hi dudes

am using avg antispyware(formerly ewido security)
when am trying to update the signature database it shows error

my version is AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5.0.50 free edition

Is it any necessary to buy full version for getting online update ?

i updated it manually but it shows the signature is out of date

pls help me how to update ???

ya i always prefer this one because this smiley is unique and so the people can recognised me from this too.i followed the path less followed.

u dont need to have or enter the avg a/s key, to continue to use the free version. in fact remove the ewido guard from ur startup list now. ensure that ur avg service in set to manual/automatioc (but not disabled), and u shud be able to update. on some occassion it does not, but then try after a couple of hrs agn; this is bcoz the free version is given updates on non-priority (!) basis. if it does not stll update for a day or two. p'raps a reinstall would be in order.
