Audio player with scheduling

I need to set up a p a system at my office through a siemens hipath 3500 system (this doesn't pertain to the question, but just in case)

What i am looking for is an audio player capable of playing mp3s atleast, which has scheduling capabilities. Example i will need to set it up to play instrumentals from 830 am to 9 am and from 1-2 pm and from 5-530 pm. you get the idea, i hope. And no, i cannot use any scripts.

u could create playlists and add jobs in the windows scheduler.

You're playing it over the network or else ?

The Windows Scheduler suggestion would be the easiest way to this if you are on Windowze, and an equivalent system for nix too I think.
