Audio driver for vista in P4 Intel 865

I have loaded Vista in my old P4 Intel 865 Board.
The problem is ,I can not load audio driver. So no sound.
865 motherboard audio driver (Sound max) is not recogsed by vista.
Mother board is not allowing realtec to be loded,
What driver should i load.
I tried in intel site, but...... no....

I think 865 don't support vista By support I mean you can work with it but you will get driver/software issues. Better use XP

I had a 865GBF and Vista audio worked on it just fine. Try the Realtek dirvers under generic AC 97 drivers given here.
