ASUS releases new Vista Editions of NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI, nForce 570 SLI and Intel P965 based motherboards

ASUS today announced the launch of four new motherboards that take advantage new features found within Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Vista operating system. New features such as ScreenDuo, TPM and ASUS Accelerated Propeller are available on the new ASUS M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition and M2N-Plus Vista Edition for AMD socket AM2 processors and P5B Premium Vista Edition and P5B-Plus Vista Edition for Intel socket T (LGA775) processors.

The new ScreenDuo is ASUS’ take on a Windows SideShow device. It only comes packaged with the M2N32-SLI Premium and P5B Premium Vista Editions. ASUS doesn’t appear to offer the ScreenDuo as a separate accessory disappointingly. Nevertheless, the ScreenDuo can display RSS feeds, pull up your schedule and other simple tasks that doesn’t need full computing power to complete.
