i am not sure of the reason behind ur question. are u an optometrist / planning to do optometry? a typical optometrist needs NO computer knowledge. However, if u wanna stand out a little basic computer knowledge can help you deal with patients with computer vision syndrome

why'd and optometrist require computer skills, one of my acquaintance is an optometrist and has never probably owned a PC, He's old though and times are changing, but not so much that today practicing optometry suddenly requires extensive computer skills.
