if it has a agp 4x slot u can ..there is no problem i guess...
even if u have 2x slot u can put a card .....

and about overclocking ...i wouldn't suggest u that as few old hand in the forum said ...don't suggest ppl to overclock their system ........

but i wouln't suggest u that coz of u r processor is already too old ....and it could take serious damage doing that..! the newer processor can be overclocked to 20% of their frequency ..or max 30% coz they are made to support few high clock frequency
but u r saying to go to 1000 MHz from 600 MHz.....thats is 400mhz overclocking ....for ur processor ...in ur case ur r talking about 2/3 x100 =66.% of overclocking .....do u know what it means .....?
plz man don't do it ....!

u can even get pci cards but they are more expensive than agp ones ...
suggest a nice upgrade dude
ud be better off with a new sys. with onboard graphics as well ...
i dun recommend overclockin either
tho the kimit is not set .. its all by trial and error ..
but i think i can be sure in sayin ocing 600 to 1gig is killing it ..
