We've all grown up listening, reading & watching(media) our mythological books such as Ramayana, Mahabharta, Gita etc. All of us are aware of the feats achieved by them. We take all this as mythology ... have we ever given it a thought that all that's been written actually happened...that they are not just religious, glorifying stories & hold much more than what meets the eye? Maybe they were a far more advanced civilization than we are now. Everything that's been written has a scientific & technological explaination. They had aeroplanes (Vimanas) which went by the speed of thought. As of now, we don't have a fully automated autopilot technology & are only experimenting controlling the devices with our thoughts (with all those wires & helmet on your head). They had weapons with unimaginable & exotic powers:
*Agniastra -- The missiles of modern day (Napalm bomb)
*Varunastra -- Modern day experimental (Changes weather patterns like brewing storms, rains, etc.)
*Nagastra -- Biological weapons that bring about poisoining
*Brahamastra -- Nuclear weapon (may be)

Until the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, modern mankind could not imagine any weapon as horrible and devastating as those described in the ancient Indian texts.
When excavations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro reached the street level, they discovered skeletons scattered about the cities, many holding hands and sprawling in the streets as if some instant, horrible doom had taken place. People were just lying, unburied, in the streets of the city. And these skeletons are thousands of years old, even by traditional archaeological standards. What could cause such a thing? Why did the bodies not decay or get eaten by wild animals? Furthermore, there is no apparent cause of a physically violent death.
These skeletons are among the most radioactive ever found, on par with those at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At one site, Soviet scholars found a skeleton which had a radioactive level 50 times greater than normal. Other cities have been found in northern India that show indications of explosions of great magnitude. One such city, found between the Ganges and the mountains of Rajmahal, seems to have been subjected to intense heat. Huge masses of walls and foundations of the ancient city are fused together, literally vitrified! And since there is no indication of a volcanic eruption at Mohenjo-Daro or at the other cities, the intense heat to melt clay vessels can only be explained by an atomic blast or some other unknown weapon. The cities were wiped out entirely.

Think, does that ancient advanced civilization wiped itself out completely using these so called WMD's...and are we on the same path of destruction???

well it is...evolution then destruction & the evolution starts again.
There are also accounts of time travel, time wrap, interstallar travel... There's this account of a king who don't find any suitable fiance on the earth for his princess daughter. He along with his daughter goes to brahmalok (may be considered another planet). He tells Brahmaji his problem & then asks for the solution. Brahmaji tells him to return to earth. He says that he's searched all over earth but didn't find any suitable match for his daughter. Then Brahmaji enlightens him that the few moments they have spent in Brahmalok, yugas have elasped on earth. A few seconds of Brahmalok time is equal to millions of years on earth. The king returns to earth & really million of years were gone.

Why don't you just google them, you'll find tons of sources. About my second post i've seen this on some religious program some years back. Obviously, they didn't talked about time-warp etc. its my own inference. Trying to understand those things better through modern terms.

To give you the full story, the princess name was Revati (ring any bells....no???) Well Revati was Balaram's wife, Balaram was Krishna's elder brother. And the incident I was talking about is given in Srimad Bhagavatam.

Hope this satisfies you :)
