An amd alternate to the sandy bridge

i will be upgrading my pc in a month or two and my budget is 20,000/-rs
the obvious choice for me was the i5 2500k but with my eye on the MSI HD 6850 or the 6950 and the mobo, it will exceed my budget.
so what is he alternate to the sandy bridge series in AMD?? i thought the BULLDOZER by AMD was good, but the forum members thought otherwise.
and yes mine is for gaming only.
please suggest a good AMD processor for less than 10,000/-rs. and a mobo to go with it.

for CPU you can look into Phenom II 960T~6.8K

AMD Phenom II 960T + Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3. total will cross 13k but you can overclock it, unlock it as you wish without worrying about the board not being able to handle the extra power requirement.

Phenom II X4 960T ---> only this model can unlock to 6 cores. Google for the guide. Not all will unlock. Unlocking to 6 cores should only be considered a bonus.

i think you can go with fx8120 only 10800 /-from delta
you can upgrade to pile driver later in 2015 if requires
and amd mb are far cheaper

Forget about i Series Quads and 6-8 Cores FX in that budget.

Phenom is ONLY good option. Damn 955 and 965 have practically vanished in no time from the shelves. (No Surprise)
