AMD 64

Will there be any problems in running a 32 bit OS or any Application ( 32 bit) in a 64 bit processor ( say AMD 64 ). Also one more question Is this the best time to upgrade for a 64 bit processor or should I wait still for some more time ( say another 18 months) ?

I'm running a 64 bit proccy since 2 months now with a 32 bit OS. No problems at all.
No point waiting for something better. Newer hardware is released constantly. Buy one now and enjoy it.
