btw it is still beta, not final
wait for few months to get 64-bit winxp final

and yes it works only on AMD 64

I think MS is waiting for Intel to release its version of 64-BIT.

I doubt this 64-bit version is pure 64-bit windows, cause even b4 AMD 64, MS windows 64 was floating arround.. Tho it can support 64 bit appliction but it converted it to 32 & then processed it.

The Quest is on for a pure 64-BIT lets C wat lies ahead!

Humm now Service pack 2 when installed on normal windows XP Home or Pro will not support 64BIT. Windows XP still remains 32-bit.

Ya may be Windows XP Home or Pro can run on AMD 64-BIT that don't mean it compute at 64bit....

Windows has a diff ver of XP called Windows XP 64-BIT which can work on AMD 64 bit & also compute @ 64-Bit.

Exactly.

For a totally legal download of WinXP 64-bit, go here:
Follow the links there to download. Right now, for a few days, the download option will be unavailable because a new build is on its way - in a week or so, you will be able to download it from there.
