i have McAfee Virus Scan 8 running on Windows 2000 Server. heres my problem that started a couple of days ago:

when i start my computer and once windows loads i get a message box saying that McAfee has found a virus on the system and that i should scan the machine, but whenever i open the virus scan program it starts loading and then immediately terminates.

however it opens and works normaly in safe mode......i scanned my system in safe mode and found some trojans which i cleaned, but the problem still persists in normal mode.

i cant uninstall the program because even the uninstaller program wont work !

    pls help..........!!!!!!!!!

    thanks,
    shehan
