Hi guys,

I am goin to purchase Acronis.True.Image.Workstation.v9.1.But i have a doubt, just tell me whether the following is possible?:

1. After installin windows xp freshly on my hdd, can i take a image of the partion on which xp is located and burn it to a dvd, so that even if my xp gets corrupt, i can restore it back from the image on my dvd?

Of course you can. See the Tutorial section on how to use Acronis True Image. I urge you to make a protected zone in HDD. Here you can back up your entire system. This section on HDD is out of bounds for all other programmes. In Explorer also, this zone will not be shown. In Acronis True Image, There is a provision for making such a zone. Even there is a facility to restore indivdual folders or files from such a zone. Dn't forget to make the bootup cd.
