2 IP Addresses or Loopback Interfaces on 1 computer ??

Hey .. I wanna test my networking applications on my standalone computer ... but for dat i require 2 IP addresses ... 1 is the MS Loopback interface ... but can ne1 temme where do i get the 2nd IP from .. ges there may b a way 2 emulate another loopback interface with another IP address!!

If ne1 knows bout an emulator for this or simply a workaround 2 get 2 IP addresses on 1 computer ... plzz hlp

put in a network card (RS 250 in bangalore) and you can assign multiple ip to it using alias.

using different protocol ? i.e PPPOE or something ?

i use it that way only

or may be you can use VM ware and setup virtual system and check the stuff..

but i will suggest buying NIC and test it
