Right off the assembly line
Me and my cousin have decided to buy gaming PCs with different configs. I prefer to go the AMD way, he prefers the Intel way, so i need 2 different configs. We'll be playing mostly all the recent games with max settings possible hitting 30+ frames.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run?

Ans: Gaming only, all latest mostly FPSs

2. What is your overall budget?

Ans: 60K +/- 5K

3. Planning to overclock?

Ans: Yes

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Ans: Win 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?

Ans: 1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor?

Ans: Yes, 21" or more. Will play at 1920 x 1080 mostly (maybe in 3D but not necessary).

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans: NA

8. When are you planning to buy the system?

Ans: Early next year (jan or feb)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Ans: Assemble it ourselves

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ans: Chandigarh and will buy it locally or from Delhi

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

Ans: Will use it only for gaming, so need some good keyboard+mouse combos, game pads, joysticks, wheel pads, headsets

Tarun, i5 2500K is now 13.5K, not 11K

Here is my suggestion:

Intel Core i5 2500K @ 13.5K
MSI Z68A-GD45 (B3) @ 9.5K
Gskill RipjawX 1600 MHz 4GB X 1 @ 1.6K
Seagate 500 GB SATA HDD @ 4K
Seasonic 750W 80+ PSU @ 5.5K
Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus USB3 @ 3.2K
BenQ G2220HDL 21.5" 1080P LED @ 7.5K
MSI HD 6950 2GB Twin Frozer II @ 16.4K
Asus 24x DvD writer 1.1k

Total is 62.3K. Now one suggestion from my side. Postpone the purchase of ghraphics card until end of January. That time AMD HD 7000 series will be available in the market and around 17K, you can get a HD 7800 series card which will offer better performance than HD 6900 series.
