thanks for ur comments. Ya it's a bit too basic as i installed it yesterday itself and wrote the guide the same day. Also i am new to Ubuntu so the guide had to be basic. I'll add more content to it soon including some screens and videos.

It depends on ur use. It u want portable ones, go for PX100 but if u want awesome quality, then go for HD485 or HD 555

If u want it from India, check out *www.atmpl.com/ I have also PMed u a link. Check ur PM. U can get HD 555 from Delhi for about Rs. 6000. A bit above ur budget i guess. I got HD 485 from U.S for Rs. 3000. Few days back it wasn't available at atmpl.com.

No.... Microsoft loves pirated Windows... it adds to their popularity. If windows was not pirated, everybody would have used GNU/Linux (at least in India) and thus GNU/Linux would have been more popular. So, Windows piracy actually hurts GNU/Linux.

U can try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It has nice graphics, doesn't require a big graphics card, is free and has plenty of servers... I am playing it...

i got the solution. I had to put the all-generic-ide option to the grub conf file (menu.lst).
