Loose VGA cable or exposure to magnetic field can make the monitor change colors.
But since in your case, the colors keep changing, its most probably a VGA cable fault. Check the connections.
And you are just seeing half the equation. Did you enquire about the data/voice plans you mandatorily have to opt for ???
Indian price is without those hefty monthly bills.
I have used this HDTV for more than a one and a half year (while I was living a bachelor life) and now need to upgrade to a bigger 42 incher for my family.
It is also serving as my primary PC Monitor and I have connected it via HDMI interface to my 4850 and I get razor sharp images.

Well if you guys are bashing Nero for being a bloatware, you all need to get your sources right. I am using a micro version thats just 11mb. Needless to say, it works like a charm and I havent ever thought of moving to any other piece of software to burn my discs.
You kidding me man ? All you need to do is edit the configuration file :P
I ran it at 1440x900, 4xAF, 8XAA, all maxed. And I am on Radeon 9.5 / Vista 32bit.
BTW PiBlacks are gaming grade CL4 RAM from GSkill. Bought them for 60$ from the US :P
