hi all, i'm looking for a software which can help me 2 edit scanned documents. i'm not a pro, so i prefer it to be a free ware (but if its very good, i can even think of paid S/W). i googled but could not make out which one is good, plz recommend me some based on ur knowledge or experience.

i hav the option to adjust the horizontal setting through monitor buttons, but that control is not working. well, only some are not working (incl. horizntal,), rest controls are working.

i tried to degauss pressing both brightness + contrast buttons simultaneously, the screen was shaken & blurred for a moment, but nothin happ. after that.

@DeSmOnD dAvId my monitor is samsung samtron 45bn, so how should i restore the factory settings? @koolbluez i dint change any of the display settings

@topgear 1. if i buy a new C2D based system, then what will b the cost? 2. ya, that is my mobo. 3. my mobo has only 2 slots for RAM, if i use 2 * 256mb then in future i may hav prob, if i go 4 single 512mb stick, then i can easily upgrade upto 1 gb in future.
