If you want the absolute best for gaming look no further than LG 24GM77.
144Hz TN..
With brilliant colour vibrancy..
Beats any ips in this price range for gaming..
Although visual angles will be poor, that means not so great for watching movies with friends.
Also Benq GW2760HS, is 27"...
My need will be like 60% gaming and rest 40% rendering. I need a decent mic and a headphone too.
These two alone would cost me 20K, 25K if i get me a DAC.
20K additional for a X99 system, is getting a bit north of the budget.
Thats why I wanted to know. How much of a differnce in video...
I probably would have to shell out like 20K additional for an X99 compared to a Z170.
But is it worth the stretch?
Coz just on the z170 ,I seem to be on the Apex of my budget, managing 20K additional would be tough.
One straight difference that I saw was getting a hexcore processor on X99...
This is awesome yaar...so that means we can still overclock nonK processors..so tje hell with K..
M going with 6700.
U absolutely sure about that tho?
Also what the difference bt z170/h170/b150 etc?
Some b150 cost like 5.5k.
Can save a lot of money.
Didn't Intel disable overclocking on its non K skews?
I remember it was a thing overclocking it's non K models some time ago.But then Intel discontinued manufacturing such Non K processors with the overclocking backdoors..

Also what about other LGA1511 mobos apart from...
I live in Jamshedpur. But mostly ill be busing stuff from Kolkata.
Also should I get 6500K or the 6700(non K).
Coz some time will be invested on rendering..
So, an i7 6700 would be better than 6500K? Isnt it?

Can you suggest any cheaper Z170 mobo.
And most proobably...
Looks interesting.. Where have you quoted the price from?
Also Gainwards 1070 are well performing too and cost 3-4k less.. Are they any good as a brand?
It's mostly for gaming. Like 95% time gaming.
It's no IPS monitor. But it has a nice color for TN tho.
Anyways feel free to add IPS 144Hz monitor in the same price bracket.
Although i don't think anyone exists.
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:All AAA gaming titles.
2. What is your overall budget? If...
A 2K monitor might cost you just around 30-40K.
Not possible in your budget.
Also a better monitor isn't future proofing.
Buying a 1080GTX would be called as future proofing.
IMO 70K feels like a low budget for your requirements.
Can you up your budget a bit?(10-15k)
Or will you compromise on the gaming prowess?
Your whole build would vary based on this decision.
Ps- Don't get a 1440p monitor.
Not worth it with 1060.
I have used RMx750..absolutely no problem.
I dont know much about CS/CX.But when I was reaesrching on PSU's for myself, inread on multiple fourms that CS is not a good power supply.
Many people faced dead PSU and unstable PSU power on CS models.
I went for a RMx for the same reason.
Although...
Sry i don't have much experience with low end mobos. If it supports DDR3 go for a 4gig RAM(single stick).
If it supports then.
Try getting a heigher frequency one compared to the one you have now.
Exactly.
I don't know how 8Q got such cheap TN panel.
Thats not a ROG quality product.
That's why 2420G is more preferred since it's launch after ROG8Q.
Although putting all the blame on ASUS wont be just.
Coz 8q is a 2K monitor.
The more the pixels you have easier it becomes to spot a...
