Digicomp says my mobo is dead and cannnot be repaired they have offered me an option of either taking a refurbished mobo or take a new cross platform board, the new mother board is H61 chipset 1150 socket. I know I should go for the new mobo but the problem is I will have to buy a new processor...

@ rajnusker you can send an email to techsupport@asus.com with the serial number....they will let you know the manufacturing date. The warranty for mobos is 3 years for normal or 5 years for high end depending on location and warranty is from the date of manufacturing

Thanks for clarifying I am sorry that word did not strike me....but yes there is nothing external attached to the pc....I will try to reset BIOS and after that if I am not wrong RMA is the only option left. So shall I just take the board to the service center and tell them the problem right...

Re: No Display....(Solved) Thanks ppl for all your responses I removed the RAM and Graphics card cleaned the pins with a eraser and installed them back....and voila it did the job....problem solved @ Topgear the problem was with the RIG 1 in the siggi....I did quote that in the first post :!:

Hi I was able to use the system without any problem till last night. Today morning when I started my pc the display wont come up, the monitor just flashes the amber light. The POST beep is heard but I feel there is a delay as compared to the normal times. I can hear the start up sound as well...
