go here: *www.nero.com/nero6/eng/General_Clean_Tool.html download the clean tool from the link at the bottom of the page... run it.. reboot... clean your temp directory... reinstall nero.. i had the same problem... this worked for me..

@amit.... catia, Pro E, solidworks, inventor, etc are some of the most expensive softwares ever !!! there are no trial versions of these... maybe the autodesk softwares do but not catia and Pro E.... you're better off workin on these in your college comp lab...

yeah.. as i_kill said.. boot from a xp cd... goto the recovery console when it gives you the option... just type fixmbr and press enter... then you will be able to boot into xp directly without going through the bootloader (which linux would have installed)... this will solve the booting part...

download tweakui (its a microsoft official app & free)... theres an option for doing what you want... plus it will let you do so much more...

yeah once you run fixmbr from the recovery console the xp bootloader will be restored... you will then boot directly into windows! no options... now to permanently remove linux from your harddisk.. goto control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management... go into disk management...
