Normally I wouldn't. But I seem to get a headache from bad monitors. I don't know if its the bad SAR issue or the flickering or both.

Thanks. Looks promising. The M.2 option is great. Going by reviews, flickering appears to be a problem though.

    Sandy bridge upgrade question

Gigabyte mobos are available starting 11-12 K. You could try something like GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3. Dont know its availability though. Even the Asus V is a good board if you dont plan to overclock much

    Samsung PX2370 or Dell ST2420

The Samsung would be better, though a tad costlier too. If 3/4 Ks is not a concern go for Samsung.

Nikon L120 vs Sony DSC HX1

With both weighing well over 400 gms, they arent exactly point and shoot types but if you have to choose between the two, I'd recommend the Sony. It has a CMOS sensor and superior optics. Besides the Nikon works on AA batteries and you'll always tend to run out of juice.

    DSLR around 30-35K

The D90 alongwith the 50mm f1.8 shouldnt cost more than 41-42 k max. Apart from the fact that the D90 offers better control (compared to D5100/D5000), Depth of Field preview, superior optical viewfinder and Continuous shooting at 4.5 fps, the more practical reasons for suggesting something like...
