Re: GTX 460 overheating... I am using msi afterbuner for temperature check and adjusting the fanspeed but all set to normal and the fan speed is also set to auto mode and it always shows 75 to 80% speed and when i slide it to 100% then also the temperature of the card is around 80'...

GTX 460 overheating... Hey guys my brother has a palit gtx 460 sonic in his pc and the card temps are real high at idle around 82' celsius and the computer shuts down while gaming as the temps reaching 100' celsius at its threshold..what could be the problem and the card was 6 months old...
