    Please critique this HTPC configuration

Might not be the best advice here, but I was just watching a 4k HDR10 movie with 5.1 DTS Surround sound on my Raspberry Pi running LibreELEC streaming from my Synology NAS. To be fair, the audio is set to pass through and is decoded by my AVR, but video is decoded on Pi and I did not experience...

    Suggest me a soundbar!!

Always ask for recommendations along with a budget. Otherwise I might recommend anything from Boat Avante Bar to Dali Kubik One.

Which RAM would be ideal for my laptop?

Look for disassembly videos on YouTube, they'll show what RAM is there inside the laptop. Also, expanding the Slot 1 part in Speccy will give you more information about the module in there. IMO, if the laptop is general purpose, and not something intensive like video editing, getting a RAM...

    *Best SoundBar UNDER 20 k*

Polk Signa S2 has HDMI ARC support. If your TV supports the same, you can connect the Fire Stick to the TV and then connect the speaker using the ARC port. I don't think any soundbar comes with separate HDMI input, at least in this price range. Yamaha Yas-209 is the cheapest I can find with...

Bookshelf Speakers for TV under 12k

1700BT and R1850DB are actually pretty much the same speakers, difference being that 1850 comes with inbuilt DAC and hence supports digital inputs. So sound quality is not likely to be very different.

    [Guide] Laptop SSDs.

500 GB below 5k is difficult as of now. Keep an eye on onlyssd.com. Their prices are pretty good. Crucial MX500 is currently at ₹5400

    [Guide] Laptop SSDs.

Would not recommend an adapter. The price difference would definitely be smaller than the cost of the adapter. As for speed, SATA 3.0 is 6 gbps spec. There's no way to exceed that. Realistically, 600 MBps is the max you can get with the best of SSDs. In practice, most SSDs cap out at 550 MBps.

Need solution to connect 5.1 speaker to Android TV

The cable you've linked is correct. That cable goes from your TV to one of the optical inputs on the adapter. The other side of the adapter has 6 RCA outs. But your speaker has 3.5 mm inputs. So you need 3 sets of RCA Male to 3.5 mm male cables, looks like these: Now just match the front/rear...

Need solution to connect 5.1 speaker to Android TV

You need an adapter like this: Shayaan Digital DTS AC3 Optical to Analog 5.1CH HD Audio Sound Decoder SPDIF Coaxial : Amazon.in: Electronics You will then need 3 sets of RCA to 3.5mm cables. Try to get good quality cables from cablecreation/bluerigger/Amazon basics if your budget permits.

Bookshelf Speakers for TV under 12k

I'm also looking for something similar. My budget is 20-25k and I'm looking for 2.1 setup. What I see is that availability is really bad currently. Browsing through various forums, I came across many models which people have procured in the past but are now either not available or have gone up...

RAM & SSD upgrades for Asus Vivobook 14

Update, I got a WD Blue 500 GB. I was looking to get Crucial, but it was out of stock on onlyssd.com when I wanted to buy and price on Amazon was very high. Got a Crucial 2666 Mhz RAM. I figured the RAM currently installed was already 2666 Mhz, even though the soldered RAM is 2400 Mhz, which...

    Looking for a Gigabit router

I have been looking to upgrade to a Gigabit router. Today there is a sale on Amazon where TP-Link Archer C80 AC1900 is available for ₹3400 as compared to its usual price of ₹4500. Is this a good router and should I go for it?

Laptop HDD stopped working. Need help!

Local technicians are often unreliable. My experience with them has been very poor. Can't blame them though, these jobs don't really pay well in India, so most people working in repairs are not well educated. Hence they are not great at communicating. Also, it generally makes them unhappy if...

Laptop HDD stopped working. Need help!

First thing you need to determine is whether your laptop has an M.2 slot or not. If it does, then I'd recommend going with an M.2 SSD. Crucial MX500 1 TB is available for 9000 on onlyssd.com (Primeabgb). Both M.2 and 2.5" form factor drives are priced pretty much the same. Avoid Samsung Qvo...
