can't say for sure what other skeleton might show up from Intel's closet. Using a 12400F and updated the bios just to be on the safer side. Don't plan to do it regularly though and I needed this as I got a paltry 610 motherboard :D
Tv's wifi may be crap / for some reason not getting enough signal. I faced similar issue with even Fire Tv Stick and eventually opted for ethernet adaptor.
It's rare but there may be issue with the pci-e slot as well. So it's better to get things checked on a pc repair shop if you can not do it by yourself.

Take backup of your important data and try to install latest official build of windows 10. Just give it a try and hopefully, you won't need any drivers to insrtall manually but if the needs arise then some of the windows 7 and even some win vista drivers works fine in compatibility under win 10.
yes ... but that depends if you want to save on power consumption and only watch HD videos then HD 2500 shall serve the purpose but having the GT710 on your system won't harm anything anyway. What type of work you don on PC is more important but still getting a i5 3550 makes sense..
