hey check the lan cable 's order .....for pc to pc connection it's cross - over connection and in case of pc to router or switch its diff.......

go for HP........

not sure of sony but nokia has back up in its pc suite so check its pc suite too....

yaa if u r not that much audiophile don't go for sound card...stick with ur onboard sound ..it'ss enough for normal music listener...

but my laptop doesn't detect XP cd.......even when i set cd rom as first boot device...

try once without ZA and see if prob. is still there or not????

its not possible dude.......u have surely have done some mistake in setting lan setting .........first of all Windows xp doesn't ask for password by default ........it asks only when u opt for it by the method i have told u in my previous post.......so better to set ur lan setting...

Go to control panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer management -> System tools .there u 'll find users and in right hand side right click on guest and then click on set password and leave it blank.......thats all..
