Avast is the best coz its always updated !!! AVG is gud too but due 2 not being updated so frequently is misses the odd virus and worm here and there !!! Cheers !!!

win 98 will not do so !!! Coz it was made 7- 8yrs ago When microsoft never Thought about x86-64 !!! So thats y there is no Chance of it running !!! But u can use it by installing VIRTUAL MACHINE !!! Cheers !!!

hey just pop in ur XP cd at boot-up and Let the setup start.....Then it will tell u about ur Windows xp installation and just choose repair and ur done !!! Since u said u have Windows 98 as well.....enter 98 and get urself AVAST 4.6 and uninstall AVG coz its of no use !!! AVAST is free too...
