Hello everyone, planning to buy new system, so I need your suggestions.
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: 1080p Gaming, Programing, video editing
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: ~70k without Graphics card + 10-20K for graphics card
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 10
5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: Already have 500GB old HDD, going to use that for storage, Need SSD for OS
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: Yes need 24" 1080p Monitor.
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: HDD, keyboard, Mouse
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Probably in next week
9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No, But I have basic idea about assembling (Don't know how to map cabinet port with motherboard slot)
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai, Both Locally and Online is fine for me
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I went through multiple threads and come across with below config -
CPU - Intel 11400 (Is Intel stock cooler is enough to handle day to day tasks or need to buy separate one?)
Motherboard- Asus TUF B560 PLUS WIFI (Should I go to Asus TUF B560M instead? )
RAM - 8x2 Adata Spectrix D50 DDR4 RGB
Case - lian li lancool 215/ NZXT H510 ( I Really like NZXT H510 for its clean & minimal look but read on internet that it has bad airflow. Is it really that bad?)
PSU - Cooler master MWE V2 550W (Since it has DC-to-DC Technology)
SSD - WD SN550 500GB.
Monitor - Acer 23.8 IPS 165Hz
I will be buying Graphics card once prices are down or suggest graphics card as per budget right now.
What you think about this config?
Or should I go with Ryzen 3600 setup with cheap graphics card like 1030??
Please suggest one.
Thanks
