Corsair has degraded their psu quality for beginners ever since they started cost cutting by removing seasonic from their company. My Corsair VX450W is still running like a champion from 2009 which according to Johnnyguru is capable of delivering 500w and has a solid built from seasonic. Cx is no match for it. Only high end psu of corsair are still made by seasonic i think.

My Corsair VX450W is still running like a champion from 2009 which according to Johnnyguru is capable of delivering 500w and has a solid built from seasonic. Cx is no match for it. Only high end psu of corsair are still made by seasonic i think.

My dad's PC have this same PSU since 2009. Still no problems whatsoever.

Indeed but it is still the best budget option. @chimera201 recently posted a link for review of corsair cheapest VS450 & it is still alright for its price.Nowadays Corsair CX series is the minimum recommended & only series above it to recommend in similar/next higher price range price is Antec Earthwatts gold pro assuming you get the latest version with 7 years warranty logo on the box(mdcomputers definitely sells this version but not sure about others,somebody confirmed on reddit that it is not this version on amazon India).
